  • Your use of the Facebook site means your acceptance of their terms of service. These can be changed any time, so every time you visit this site, spend an equal time reviewing the fine print also.
  • You can’t use Facebook if you are under 13 years.
  • Your will submit correct and latest information, and update it every time there is a change. You have to guard your password and identification details.
  • You can download or print a copy of any portion of the Site Content but you cannot delete all those copyrighted or other proprietary notices when doing so.
  • You won’t put your account to any commercial use or harvest emails etc.
  • Your content should not be offensive or inappropriate in any manner, nor would you try to impersonate anybody or send spam
  • You will also not post anybody’s private information.
  • You are solely responsible for anything you post on the site.
  • You may also join Facebook’s mobile service which is free, but your mobile service provider may charge you. You will receive SMS, MMS etc and information about your usage may be communicated to Facebook.
  • Facebook is not responsible for what you see on or receive from any sites that are linked from Facebook.
  • Your site can place a share link button on your webpage for users to share their content. The button should contain the word “Facebook”.
  • The online content provider will also be bound by conditions about quality of content and indemnity for Facebook.
  • This also automatically gives Facebook a right to use that content.
  • Facebook can check how you interact with other users, but it is not their responsibility.
  • By using the Site or the Service, you are consenting to have your personal data transferred to and processed in the United States.
  • Company is not liable for whatever anybody puts in his content. It is also not liable even if you had warned the Facebook about some issue.
  • Facebook cannot also guarantee that you won’t download some virus when you use the site.
  • In any case Facebook’s liability will be limited to whatever you have paid to it during your membership, but never more than $1000. If you have not paid anything, you can only recover the injunctive fees.
  • But if your State laws do not allow Facebook or anybody else to get away so lightly, you have better protection.
  • These terms are governed by laws of State of Delaware. You promise not to sue Facebook in any other State.
  • All issues even otherwise will be decided in Arbitration, unless an issue of copyright is involved, and injunction is desired.
  • Be doubly careful about what you ask or say as any questions, comments, suggestions, ideas, feedback etc provided by you can be published by Facebook free.
