David Strorm is the protagonist in the novel, The Chrysalids. The Chrysalids is a science fiction novel written by John Whydham in 1995. David lives in a community called
Waknuk that is set in the future. The community is very religious and belives in deviants and blaspheme. Therefore when David Strorm is descovered to be a deviant due to
his telepathic skills he is forced to flee. Though, David is not alone. There are other member of the think pattern group. Rosalind (who he is in love with), Petra (his younger sister) and many others.
