Invasion is the first in a series of novels written by well-known D.C. Comics writer and Grey Griffins co-author, Jon S. Lewis (also known by his pen name J.S. Lewis). The book, released in January 2011, lays the foundation for the remaining novels in the C.H.A.O.S. Novels series, published by Thomas Nelson Publishing House.
The book begins with the hero of the story, teenaged Colt McAlister, losing his parents in a fatal car accident. As events unfold, Colt finds that his parents were actually murdered because his mother, a journalist, was writing an expose’ about powerful Trident Industries.
Invasion brings twists and turns, with comic book characters and superpowers springing to life. Colt has to learn how to walk a fine line of living a normal teen life and investigating the dark underworld of Trident and its otherworldly supporters.
